Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not accept any insurance directly. However, I can provide documentation that may allow you to receive a reimbursement from your insurance.
Is a Marriage and Family Therapist different from a regular therapist?
Yes. Marriage and Family Therapy focuses on relationships, patterns, and systems that shape emotional well-being. Even in individual sessions, MFTs consider how family dynamics, attachment styles, and relational experiences influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior. This approach addresses not just symptoms, but the relational context they exist within.
Is there any problem that you do not work with?
Traditionally no, I assess each problem to see if I am the best fit for my clients. If I feel as though there may be a client-therapist mismatch, I will do my best to provide alternative resources and recommendations.
Can I see you if I am not married?
Yes, Marriage and Family therapist is simply the official title my licensure. You can see me at all stages of your relationship and even as an individual.
Can I end therapy at any time?
Yes, this journey is completely yours! We believe timing is just as vital to deep transformation as anything else. Therefore, you can pause or terminate your treatment at any time.
